Richard Roebuck Obituary
Richard Arden "Bootsie" Roebuck, age 67 of Middletown, Connecticut entered into eternal rest on Wednesday December 4, 2013 in his residence. He is survived by his wife Rosa Roebuck; mother Vera Estelle Roebuck, four brothers: Jesse, Jerry, David and Kenneth Roebuck. One sister Carol Roebuck. Four sons Khesahn, Kelan, Richard and Amos. Friends may greet the family on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. in New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. 1100 Park Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. A celebration of Richard's life will begin at ll: 00 A.M., officiated by Rev. David Miller. Interment will immediately follow in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Bow Lane, Middletown, Connecticut. Arrangements entrusted to George J. Peterson Funeral Home. 1041 Noble Avenue, Bridgeport, Conn. 06608.

Bootsie ain't went nowhere. He right here wit us..trust n blede dat!! Always had madluvnrespect4yawl-the Roebucks. A stoic & dignified family inspite of ANY life circumstances. Be comforted in knowing that Bootsie's soul is back with The Lord; at peace.

To Members of the Roebuck family,
Words seem inadequate to express the sadness I feel about Bootsie's passing. Richie and Ronnie were friends and classmates of mine at Bassick High School, class of 1965. Following graduation, we entered the Air Force and went through basic training together. As so often happens in the service, we were separated by different duty assignments and lost touch over the years. Wishing you God's peace to bring comfort, courage to face the days ahead and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
