Russell Nemeth Obituary
Russell J. Nemeth, 66, of Milford, beloved husband of Deborah (Hamilla) Nemeth, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 20, 2014. He was born December 21, 1947, in Bridgeport, CT to the late Andrew and Marion (Sizensky) Nemeth. He grew up in Fairfield, CT and worked 23 years for Harvey Hubbell Inc. in Bridgeport and more recently for the Bridgeport Board of Education as a custodial supervisor. Russell enjoyed sports, especially New York Yankees baseball, cooking for his family, and watching western movies. Besides his loving wife, Russell is also survived by his daughter Kimberly Nemeth Griffin, her husband Michael, his son Ryan Nemeth and his fiancée Kelly Lynne Thibodeau, all of Milford. He was predeceased by two brothers, A. Donald Nemeth and Rev. Robert D. Nemeth. Friends may call at Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St. in Milford, Sunday, February 23rd from 3 - 6 pm. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, February 24th at St. Mary's Church, 70 Gulf St. in Milford. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Buckingham Ave. Donations may be made in Russell's name to: ASPCA, Attn: Gift Processing Center, P.O. Box 96929, Washington, D.C. 20090-6929. My condolences to the Nemeth family,I worked with Russ for many years at Hubbell in Bpt.,Seymour and Newtown,often working side by side. I have alot of good memories of those days and will never forget him. May you rest in peace,Russ.
