William Csugi Obituary
William J. Csugi, age 68, of Milford, beloved husband of Thelma McEwan Csugi, died on Sunday June 30, 2013, at Milford Hospital. He was born in Bridgeport on December 18, 1944, son of the late Joseph and Irene Szarka Csugi. William proudly served in the Army Airborne Division during the Vietnam War and received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a member of the V.F.W. 7788 in Devon. He worked as a Station Operator for Northeast Utility. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Mary (John) Ailes of Tolland, CT, Pauline Csugi and Thomas (Susan) Csugi both of Milford, a brother Roger Csugie of Milford, five grandchildren Katie, Megan, Christopher, Ryan and Mariah and several nieces and nephews. A Prayer service will be held Friday July 5th 2013 at 12 noon in the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 N. Broad St., Milford, Friends may call, prior to the service from 11:00am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to; St Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or Masonic Care Hospice P.O. I like to express my sympathy to the entire Csugi family for their loss. I remember Billy from Meadowside school. He was the kid with the impeccable hair. I heard that Billy had mellowed quite a bit over the years. One can only admire Billy's military service. He was a true hero. R.I.P. Billy.
