AMBROSE Albert A. Ambrose, age 80, of East Hartford, husband of Lillian (Dinucci) Ambrose, died on Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford. He was born in Wethersfield, son of the late Frank and Pauline Ambrose. He had lived in this area most of his life. Mr. Ambrose was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He had been employed by the Graybar Electric Co. and the Mafco Electric Co. Besides his wife, he leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Albert and Diane Ambrose of Trumbull; his sisters, Frances Ambrose of Hartford, and Wanda Kruk of Newington; his brother-in-law, Guido Dinucci and his wife, Lucy, of West Hartford; a sister-in-law, Sue Dinucci of Wethersfield; his grandchildren, Alison Yazmer of Killingworth, Ted Oliva of Tolland, Joshua Oliva of Vernon, and Matthew Ambrose of Trumbull. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Nicholas Oliva of Wethersfield; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter, Donna Oliva; and his brother, Vito Ambrose. Funeral services will be on Friday, May 2, 2003, at 9:15 a.m. from the Callahan Funeral Home, 1602 Main Street, East Hartford, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose Church, East Hartford. Burial will follow in Silver Lane Cemetery, East Hartford. Calling hours will be on Thursday, May 1, 2003, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
