Alice H. Kraska

KRASKA Alice H. (Janusz) Kraska, age 80, of Milford, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 in Bridgeport Hospital. Born in New Bedford, Mass., she retired from Textron Lycoming of Stratford where she had been a resident for over 40 yrs. Mrs. Kraska was a member of the Secular Franciscan Order. She, along with her husband of 54yrs, Edward, who passed away in January 2008, had been communicants of St. James Church in Stratford. Survivors include four daughters, Mary Ann Kraska of HI; Barbara Smith and her husband, John of ME; Teresa Greenwood and her husband, Mark of OK; Peggy Alvarado and her husband, Luis of Milford; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; a cherished aunt; and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. at St. James Church in Stratford. Disposition of the cremains will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Indian School, Chamberlain S.D. 57326 or to St. James Parish.
