Dawn, I 've only been part of the Family for a short time yet in that time I've got to know you all and care for you all like my own.I know in this what seems like a very dark hour don't let it be because your Mom is looking down on you and keeping and eye on you.You have amazing strength.Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer I know That you have a very Strong Family that will always be there for you.Just Know that deep down you are very much as strong as your Mom.

Di, I've always admired the natural courage and strength you had and used throughout your day to day life. Everyone who knew you always learned something and grew to be better from that. Your feistiness and straighfowardness were your greatest attributes. For that I give to you these sled dogs. Symbolic of you in many ways. They are strong and fearless as you were. They face the cold elements and horrid weather such as you did in life. Yet they strive onward relentlessly bringing others to safer places as you did for us. These dogs are strong and will guide you to your destination. After you learn from all they will teach you, you will eventually guide us all to where you will be. Our Dearest Diane,
We still can't believe you are gone. You are and will always be deeply missed. We had a blast being your friend and co-worker. Your bluntness was one of your greatest attributes and made us laugh always. We feel honored that you felt close to us and would call on us during your times of need. We admired you for all your strength and determination and the positive attitude you kept during your illness. We will always remember laughing together, crying together, shaving your head, grocery shopping and just hanging out. Our only wish is that we had more time with you. Try not to get into any trouble up there. We will see you again and go on that vacation we always talked about.

Your mom always was very proud of you, she spoke so much of you and you made her proud. Daine spoiled our kids with candy and stuff with my little son and his little red shovel he uses to clean the snow with that she gave him. Dawn, my friend, you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. The world was truly blessed to have had Diane here, she was a beautiful person inside and out. Now she starts and new journey and we are so lucky to have her looking down on us. Twenty years later I can still hear her say, "Dawn, did you turn off the curling iron??
