Morrison, Herbert M.
Herbert M. Morrison passed away peacefully at his home in Connecticut on March 3 at the age of 89. He was born in New York City and graduated NYU with a degree in Aeronautical engineering. He served his country during World War II in the Navy. Herbert greatly enjoyed his career as a mechanical engineer for companies such as Pennsylvania RR, Bolsey Camera, Singer, Pitney Bowes, Loral and Clairol. Respected and remembered by all whose lives he touched. Herbert remained a humble, compassionate and loving man.
He is preceded in death by his wife Harriet with whom he raised a family of 3 children. He is survived by his loving wife Edith, sister Dorothy, children Sam, Ralph and Anne, step daughter Ellen, Grandchildren Wendy, Chris, Daniel, Ryan, Elsa, Katie, Lauren and Leah, Great Grandchildren Kiah and Sarah, daughter's-in-law Irene and Joyce and son-in-law John. A short memorial service will be held on Wednesday March 6 at 1:30 PM at 6 Old Farm Rd., Trumbull, CT . The family will receive callers following the service til 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital In Memory of Herbert M. Morrison.
