Janice E. A. Romaniello Guglielmo

GUGLIELMO Janice E. A. Romaniello Guglielmo, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 20, 2010 at St. Vincent Hospital in Bridgeport with her loving family by her side. Born April 2, 1938 in Bronx, N.Y. she was a devoted Catholic, wife and mother. She was a daughter of the late Marie Mancuso Romaniello and Victor Romaniello. She is most remembered for her devoted work for the church and was employed as the Parish Administrator at Holy Cross Church in Fairfield. She attended Sacred Heart Academy in Stamford. While residing in Stamford she was a volunteer for F. I. S. H. She was a Eucharistic Minister and Catechist for the Diocese of Bridgeport and was a valued member of the Secular Franciscan Order for more than 30 years. She taught religious education at St. Mary's Church in Stamford, St. Andrew's in Bridgeport and St. Theresa's in Trumbull. Mrs. Guglielmo was a devoted wife and is survived by Frank P. Guglielmo, Sr., her spouse of 52 years. A loving mother, she is survived by six children, daughters, Lisa J. Vento, Jill M. Signorile, Dana A. Guglielmo, and Anne M. and husband Chad J. Marcinczyk; sons, Frank P. Jr. and Joseph V. Guglielmo and fianc�, Holly Lanese; her six grandchildren, Zachary and Amy Vento, Jake and John Signorile, Alexa and Griffin Marcinczyk. Mrs. Guglielmo is also survived by one sister, Jo Romaniello; her husband, Chuck Sawabini of California; and niece, Lark M. and her husband, Brandon O'Leary of Colorado. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at 9 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at The Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
