John Keri, age 47, of Fairfield, entered into eternal life on Sunday, May 5, 2013. Born in Bridgeport and a lifelong resident of Fairfield, John was the loving son of Steven and Ethel Laczko Keri. He was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School Class of 1984. A real outdoors man, John enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR, and BBQ picnics. He loved traveling to Ocean City, Maryland each year for vacation with close friends. He was a loving son who was always willing to help out. When his mother, Ethel, went into the nursing home, John continued to cook traditional holiday meals and bring them to her so the entire family can be together and enjoy the wonderful food. He was a kind and easy person to get along with and was always the life of the party. John will be dearly missed by the vast amount of family and friends. In addition to his parents, John is survived by two brothers, Steven Keri, of Fairfield, and Thomas Keri, and his wife, Amanda, of Shelton; two nieces, Makenzie and Julie Keri, whom he was an excellent uncle to; and several aunts, uncles and others relatives in Hungary. Friends may greet the family on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 4-7 PM in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield Center. A service will be held at 6:30 PM.
