CARELLI Joseph J. Carelli (Pascarelli), 47, of Bridgeport, CT passed away with his loving family at his side on May 10, 2012 at St. Vincent's Medical Center after a short, hard-fought battle with cancer. Born on February 7, 1965, in Norwalk, CT he was the son of Joseph J. Pascarelli and Jeannette Ruggiero Pascarelli. Joe attended Norwalk High School, Syracuse University, and Norwalk Community Technical College. Joe was a self-employed master craftsmen throughout Fairfield County. He was a member of the Fairfield National Little League Board of Directors from 2001-2009, in addition to managing and coaching for that league. He also managed and coached teams with the Fairfield Babe Ruth and Wakeman Boys Lacrosse. He was an ardent supporter of the Fairfield Owls Travel Baseball Team. Joe's greatest role in life was as a father to his two boys, Taylor and Brian, and the time he spent coaching them and their many friends. They spent countless hours enjoying their common passions like golfing, the New York Yankees, the New York Giants, and things they loved to do most. The memories they have made together are truly priceless. In addition to his parents and his beloved sons Taylor and Brian, Joe is survived by his former wife Karen Levine Carelli, of Fairfield, CT, grandfather Vito Ruggiero ("Johnny Rogers"), and his wife Ann, his brother John A. Pascarelli and his wife Lesley, all of Norwalk, CT, his sister Jill Ruggiero (Pascarelli), of Fairfield, CT, and his precious nieces Ashley and Megan Pascarelli, whom he adored, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and not to be forgotten, his dog Shamus.
