My Uncle Joe was the salt of the earth, a real Connecticut Yankee. He worked hard, outside every day of his life. A man of few words, he showed his love in quiet diligent work for others. He helped build all of our family's houses, including his own, up in Cassville.
He "feared the Lord" as they used to say, and molded his behaviour by the guidelines Jesus advised for us.
I will surely miss his comforting presence when i am building my house. He will remain ever lively in our hearts and memories.

My deepest condolences go out to the Cass family for the loss of Joseph. On behalf of myself as Chairman of the Town of Seymour Economic Development Commission, Joseph will be greatly missed at each of our meetings as he was a valuable part of our EDC team for many years and always smiled, had kind words to say, was respectful to all of us and he truly loved Seymour. He assisted for years in the advancement of the Town of Seymour and believed in the work we do. Joseph will you be missed by all of us.
