Dear Nancy, Sal and Family:

Sheila and I were sorry to learn of your mother's passing. We both had the greatest affection for Josephine and Peter and always considered them to be almost extended family. They were among the first people we met on moving to Trumbull so many years ago and together with your cousin, Dick, made us feel welcome in our new home town. Your parents set a great example for community pride and service -- one that you have taken up and as a result the community is a better place for us all. We are sorry that we are away at this time and are not able to express our condolences to you in person but we plan to do so upon our return. We know that you all have many happy memories that will help sustain you in the years ahead. Our kindest thoughts are with you at this time.
