MARMOR: Norma Marmor, age 91 of Fairfield, (formerly of Bronx, NY.) passed away on Sunday November 18, 2012 at The Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. Mrs. Marmor was born in New York, NY., a daughter of the late David and Ida Rabinowitz, and was a Hunter College Alumni. She worked for many years as a Bio Researcher, and later found her calling as a second grade Teacher in the Bronx. Mrs. Marmor was a member of the United Federation of Teachers, and relocated to Connecticut in 1986 with her beloved husband Ben, to be close to her son and grandchildren. Mrs. Marmor was pre deceased by her husband of 48 years, Ben in 1991, and is survived by her devoted children, Harris Marmor and Constance Greer, her adored grandchildren, David E. Greer, Elizabeth Greer Taylor, Robert Michael Marmor, and cherished great grandchildren, Benjamin Taylor and Lauren Taylor. She was also pre deceased by her siblings, Rose Maldow and Samuel Robbins, and by grandchildren, Juliet Greer and Adam Ira Marmor.
