Robert Harrington Obituary
Robert E Harrington, Jr., age 78, of Milford, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Bridgeport Hospital. He was born on December 19, 1934 in Bridgeport to the late Robert and Eva Beebe Harrington, Sr. He proudly served in the US Army and was a machinist for Ross and Roberts & Barnum Lanes in Stratford before retiring. Mr. Harrington is survived by his devoted children Debra Wandelear of Milford, Scott Harrington of Indiana, Kelly Ann DeStefano of Ansonia and Robert C. Harrington of Milford, his companion Rosemary Baker of Milford and ten grandchildren. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 4 to 7pm at the Smith & Sefcik Funeral Home, 135 Broad St., Milford with a prayer service during the visitation. Interment will be private. Donations may be made in his name to the American Cancer Society, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 or the Kennedy Center, 2440 Reservoir Ave., Trumbull, CT 06611. bobby this is little lynne as u so often called me over the years..u didnt want anyone to know about ur pain and suffering and all thru that u were concerned that we were all okay..i will miss my emails u sent me..but what matteries is that each one of us have special memories of u..ur life on earth is done and now u r on a new journey.u bought us all together again with people from the past and the present sharing memories..i will always remeber r talks and said it only matters now what is happening..amen.. karl is a quiet man.. an unspoken word says so much....remeber in the end u bought so many people together...little lynne karl xoxox bpt.ct.

Dear Harrington family and Rosemary; We were so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. He greeted us every Saturday during duckpin bowling season with a smile and occasional hug, and was always so happy to keep those machines running smoothly so strikes could be thrown! We will miss him, but we are sure we will continue to feel his warmth and presence at the lanes, where we knew him best.
