Iacomacci, Sergio W.
Sergio W. Iacomacci, age 85, of Trumbull, passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in St. Joseph's Manor, Trumbull. Born in Ansonia on February 24, 1928, he was a son of the late Adamo and Michelina Giampaoli Iacomacci. A U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, he was a retired employee of Borden's Mitchells Dairy, with 30 years of dedicated service, and lived most of his life in the Bridgeport area. Sergio was an avid opera lover and spent his life collecting opera albums and recordings. He was a movie buff and loved old movies and was a big fan of Notre Dame College Football. Survivors include a devoted sister, Sandra Iacomacci Suffredini of Southbury, as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Adam Jr., and Conrad P. Iacomacci and his loving sister, Ines Iacomacci Caiani. Private family services were conducted by the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Burial took place in the family plot at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery, Derby.
