I will always remember our visits and talks on the phone and all the laughs we had; all the memories we shared. She was a dear friend and I will always remember her wonderful sense of humor and her love to party. Her warmth and the genuine love she showed to everyone will always be cherished and remembered. I am so sorry for your loss. Many times over the years Ive heard my parents Bob & Aldona Marcavage mention Stella in some story or another and it was always pleasant. I'm sure they are together again planning something.

On behalf of Stella's friends and co-workers at the Cooperative Studies Program Coordinating Center at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System we extend our deepest sympathy to Stella's sons and their families. You were her pride and joy. As you know, Stella worked on the data for many important clinical studies at the VA. She worked hard, but also played hard and made us all laugh. She was known as "Mom" to the whole department and would always help you out if you had a problem. Though she has been retired for many years she is still remembered fondly by those of us still there and those since retired and her memory will live on with us all.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Marcinauskis while doing her roof some years back. I always drive by the house on Nells Rock and remember the nice conversations I had with her. What a nice woman. I'm so sorry for your loss.

I have thought of Mrs. Marcinauskis often over the years. I had the pleasure of meeting her when John and I danced together with Vetra. I remember how supportive she was of the group and how she would light up with Lithuanian pride as she watched us dance. She even accepted me, a Pole, as one of her own. When we drive past her house we tell our kids how we got a live Christmas tree from her to celebrate our baby's first Christmas. She was a blessing and my heart goes out to John and his family at such a difficult time.
