Stephen Sierdy

SIERDY Stephen Sierdy, age 88, of Trumbull entered into eternal rest on Tuesday November 11, 2008 Bridgeport Hospital with his loving family by his side. Born in Hungary, on September 23, 1920 he was the son of the late Stephen and Bertha Szerdy, and was a Trumbull resident for 45 years. Stephen was a retired employee of the Moore Tool Co. in Bridgeport and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his beloved wife, Anne (Amato) Sierdy; his children, Frank Sierdy, Moreen Thomas, Janice Madden and Stephen J. Sierdy; his step-children, Diane Amato and Roseanne Martins; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend services on Friday November 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Friday morning from 9 A.M. until services in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home. In lieu of the flowers the family requested donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 279 New Britain Rd. Suite 5, Kensington, Ct. 06037 in memory of Stephen.
