Darden, Susan
Susan (Boyle) Darden, age 78 of Stratford, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2012 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born on September 20, 1934 in Liverpool, England, to the late George Boyle and Mary Ann Boyle, she resided in Stratford for over 40 years with late husband, Frederick Darden. Susan worked at Dresser Industries for 24 years before retiring. She leaves to cherish her memory her children; one daughter, Deserie Sargent and husband John of Stratford, one son, Gregory Darden and wife Shez of New York, three grandchildren, Ashley Newman and husband Joshua of Stratford, Kayla Darden and Aaliyah Darden of Bridgeport, three sisters, Mary Wilson of London, England, Ann Roberts and Frances Bailey of Liverpool, England, one brother, John Boyle and wife Joan of Liverpool, England, three sister-in-laws, Dorothy Bradley and husband Al of Stratford, Elnore Green of Norwalk, and Elmira Wilson and husband Ronald of North Carolina, cousins, Dave Abrams and wife June of Liverpool, England, and Alton Smith of Norwalk, several nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her two brothers, James and George Boyle, and one sister, Katherine English all of Liverpool, England. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Friday, November 16, 2012 at 10:30 AM DIRECTLY in St. Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted to the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport.
