Kryzwick, Thomas R..
Thomas R. Kryzwick, age 73, of Connecticut, entered into eternal rest peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. He was born in Bridgeport on December 29, 1939, the beloved son of the late Albert and Sadie Tartaro Kryzwick. Tom was a devout Catholic and a loving and generous father, brother and uncle. Tom was a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut with a degree in Civil Engineering. As the owner of TRK Builders and project manager for several development firms, Tom shaped landscapes throughout the tri-state area with high-rises, shopping malls, schools and housing developments.
Tom was a true New Yorker at heart, a lifelong New York Giants fan and an avid skier. He explored the world, enjoyed meeting new people and greatly appreciated art and music.
Tom will be sadly missed by all. His family includes his loving children Lynsey Kryzwick and her husband Jonathan Salter of Brooklyn, Dana Kryzwick of Pittsburgh, and Thomas Kryzwick of Franklin, PA, two loving sisters Katherine Nemeth and Barbara Kryzwick, two beloved brothers Francis Kryzwick and Greg Kryzwick, and many cherished nieces, nephews and godchildren. Tom was predeceased by his brother Albert "Bud" Kryzwick.
A Memorial Mass in Celebration of Tom's life will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 10:30 am at the Church of St. Vincent Ferrer, 869 Lexington Ave, New York, New York. Interment in the family plot will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull, CT. Friends and relatives may call at the Miller-Ward Funeral Home, 260 Bank Street, Seymour, CT on Monday, July 29, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Memorial Gifts in memory of Tom may be made to the Central Park Conservancy, a place where the family hopes to continue the memories of Tom's life.
