Lucille was employed at Danielson Federal, Powdrell and Alexander and Bullard Clark Co. She married Richard Allen Carroll on July 15, 1950 at St. James Church in Danielson. They moved to Plainfield and never left, enjoying 58 years of married life. Lucille was a stay at home mom, devoting herself to homemaking and raising their daughters. Their family meant everything to them all of their lives. Lucille enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels in her yard. Richard predeceased Lucille on September 13, 2008. Lucille is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Susan and Carmine DeStefano of Mystic, Sharon and George (Mitch) Geer, Jr. of East Haddam and Joy and Ronald Reho of Shelton. She was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren, Emily (Jason) Belliveau and Sarah DeStefano (Fiancé Scott Webster) all of Mystic, and Eric and Kelly Reho of Shelton. Lucille was overjoyed when her great granddaughters, Kahlan Lucille and Norah Jane Belliveau joined the family. They were the light of her life. Her five brothers and a sister predeceased her, Roland, Aldor, Norman (Pete), infant Noel, and Donald Meunier and Adrienne Poirier.
