Csizmadia, Anne T.
Anne T. (Rouse) Csizmadia, age 97 of Shelton, beloved wife of the late Louis C. Csizmadia went to be with the Lord in His Light and Peace on Friday, May 2, 2014 at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center. Born in Scotland she was the daughter of the late Francis and Anna Larkin Rouse. Her family came to Bridgeport during World War II and she worked at Remington Arms. She was later employed as a dietician at Sylvan Manor Convalescent Home for 25 years and assisted her son and daughter-in-law at their business, Up-To-Date Fish in Bridgeport. Anne was instrumental in the formation of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Bridgeport where she participated in many activities. She served as President of the Rosary Confraternity in 1955. She was known by her family and friends at Wesley Village for her beautiful singing, her favorite being "Somewhere over the Rainbow". At Wesley Village she became a very accomplished oil painter and her works were shown at the Village and a local art show. She was a self-taught seamstress. She is survived by her loving children, Diane C. Ciaramella and her husband Michael of Huntington, and Louis Csizmadia and his wife Marilou of Milford, sister, Mary Baker of Milford, brothers Robert Rouse of Black Rock and James Rouse of Bridgeport, and predeceased by her brother William Rouse, all of whom she loved dearly. She was lovingly called Mama by her grandchildren, Lisa Belton (John), Carrie Csizmadia, Michael L. Ciaramella Jr., Suzanne Silvestro (Michael), and predeceased by granddaughter, Michele Guido (wife of Raymond Guido II), great grandchildren, Raymond Guido III, Daniel Guido, Nicholas Guido, Louis Silvestro, and Joseph Silvestro; also several nieces and nephews. The family extends their gratitude for her excellent care, love and compassion by the entire staff family at Wesley Village. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 meeting directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Huntington with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Friends may call Monday 4-8pm in the Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull.
