McDonough, Kevin C.
The Guest Book is expired.
Attorney Kevin Christopher McDonough, age 59, formerly of Fairfield, CT and Burlingame, CA, resided the past 20 years in Westbrook, CT with his law office in Clinton, CT, entered into eternal rest Friday, May 23, 2014. Born October 14, 1954, in Louisville, KY, the son of the late William and Betsy Ducey McDonough, he was a 1972 Fairfield College Preparatory School graduate, attended Boston College, completed undergraduate studies at the University of San Francisco, and then completed his Law Degree at the University of San Francisco in 1981. Kevin was admitted to the Bar in California, Connecticut and New York, practicing law for over 30 years. During Kevin's successful law practice, his generosity to his clients was notable. Besides having the upmost respect for the law he also loved the US Military.
Because of a strong desire to see the Golden State and complete his under graduate degree, he hitch hiked to San Francisco. Kevin was a collector of many things; he loved classic Cadillac's, World's Fair Memorabilia, and often submitted photos and articles to museums and individuals whom he knew would appreciate them. He was frequently mentioned in Herb Caen's column in the San Francisco Chronicle with articles he'd share with Herb. Kevin had an amazing recall of literature, was a savant with numbers and could dominate any trivial challenge. Although he made his home in Connecticut, Kevin left his heart in San Francisco. He lived for the City. Friends, business personalities, political figures, tourists and San Franciscans alike were often mesmerized by Kevin's own, albeit often tall, tales of the city. Kevin was defined by his strong Catholic Faith. Kevin is survived by his three children whom he loved so very much; Catherine McDonough of San Francisco, CA, William McDonough of Gainesville, FL, and Thomas McDonough of Boston, MA; his brothers, Larry McDonough of Boston, MA, and Sean McDonough of Glastonbury, CT. Kevin was a proud father who had a grand heart and soul and was a true character.
Service will be held at St. Piux X Church in Fairfield, Connecticut on June 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM
