Moroson, Mary S.
Moroson, Mary S. Spisak Moroson, age 97, of Stratford beloved wife of the late Victor Moroson, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2014 in her daughter's residence. Mary was born on April 24, 1917, in Bridgeport, and was the daughter of the late John and Anna Kiss Spisak Sr. She was employed by Warnaco as a Designer's Assistant for over 40 years. Mary enjoyed bowling, knitting, sewing, reading romance novels, caring for her pets and spending cherished time with friends and family, especially her mother and sister. Mary is survived by her devoted daughter Barbara Moroson of Stratford. In addition, to her beloved husband Victor of 66 years, Mary was also predeceased by two brothers, John Spisak Jr. and Michael Spisak and one sister, Anne Spisak. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford and at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Peace Church, 651 Stratford Road, Stratford, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Richard Murphy. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home. Mary's daughter Barbara, would like to thank all of Mary's caregivers for their support and love shown to her during this difficult time.
