Pauline Scinto Pataky, age 86, of Fairfield, the beloved wife of the late Albert S. Pataky, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Born in Bridgeport, Pauline was a lifelong Fairfield resident.
Pauline loved to sing, play bridge, golf and bowl. She sang with her beloved chorus "Harmony on the Sound" formerly known as the "Yankee Maids" championship chorus of Trumbull, CT and a member of Sweet Adeline's International.
Prior to her retirement, Pauline was an Executive Secretary with the Laborer's International Union of North America, Local No. 665.
She is survived by her devoted children, Dr. Susan M. Pataky ND of Fort Meyers, FL, David Pataky of Stratford and Bryan Pataky and his wife, Wanda of Bridgeport; and, her nephews and nieces, Salvatore DiNardo and his wife, Vickie of Trumbull, Beth Gurtis and her partner, Richard Link, Chris DiNardo, Patrick DiNardo and Ralph DiNardo, all of Florida. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her parents, Mildred Gregory and John Martin Komjathy.
Friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road in Fairfield Center. Interment to follow in Mt. Grove Cemetery. Friends may greet her family on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 from 3-7 p.m.
