So sorry to hear of Austin“s passing. My sincere condolences to family and friends. I worked with Austin at Avco Lycoming from 1979-1982. Austin was a hilarious individual!! Never forget his metal detector stories... he found a gun near the Lycoming parking lot and called the police. It turned out to be a toy cast replica ! Also the class gold ring he found at a football field. He did a lot of detective work trying to return that ring only to find out the rightful owner worked at Lycoming, the floor blow him lol !

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Sasso. Growing up as a Scout of Troop 177 he made a great impact on my life. I know he is looking down on me now and I hope he is pleased to see that I am carrying on the Scouting traditions that he instilled in me with my boys.

Nancy and family, our thoughts, prayers and hugs are with you, along with our plan to see Austin again when we also are called home. It was always so enjoyable and welcoming to see Austin's smiling face at a Boy Scout event, and talk with him about life and how much he enjoyed being a husband, dad and grandfather, each having a special place in his heart.
