BENNETT Mrs. Linda Mary Ann Valonis Bennett, age 59 of Milford, died Saturday, August 22, 2009 suddenly at home. She was the wife of Joseph F. Bennett. Born in Derby, July 26, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Margaret FitzSimmons Valonis. Linda was a communicant of St. Gabriel's Church and a proud member of Bridges Community Center. Survivors besides her husband, Joe, include a daughter, Janessa Lynn Bennett of Milford; son, Neyah Kane (Melissa A.) Bennett of Madison; sisters, Kathleen (David) Ziminsky of Waterbury and Maxine (Jeffrey) Sember of Seymour; brother, Robert (Shirley) Valonis of Manchester; granddaugthers, Laurel J. Bennett and Ella M. Bennett; grandson, William J. Bennett; godchild, Rhya Marquez; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved dog, Jude. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 29, 2009 at St. Ga-briel's Church, Milford at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to Bridges Community Center in care of the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 N.
