HUDZINA Genevieve "Jane" Hudzina, age 90, devoted wife of the late John Hudzina, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Jane was born in Taylor, Pa. to the late Victor and Mary (Glowna) Kozlowski. She was a longtime resident of Fairfield, residing in Milford for the past five years. Jane was a member of the Polish Falcons and a dedicated member of St. Anthony Parish. She is survived by two sons, John "Vic" Hudzina and his wife, Debbie of Shelton and Michael Hudzina and his wife, Cathy of Palm City, Fla.; two daughters, Sister Ann Marie Hudzina, FSSJ of Angola, N.Y. and Dolores Stopa and her husband, Gerald of Milford; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Grant and her husband, David, Christopher Hudzina, Melissa Kamen and her husband, Jason, Gregory, Kimberly, Christine and Danny Hudzina; and two great-grandchildren, Noah and Ava Grant. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. from the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 S. Pine Creek Road and at 10 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield. Contributions may be made in Jane's memory to the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph Retirement Fund in care of the funeral director.
