Carl Maskowski

MASKOWSKI Carl Maskowski, age 61, a resident of Stratford, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2011 in his home with his loving family and closest friends by his side. Carl was the son of the late Henry and Frances Maskowski. He was born on October 17, 1949 and grew up in Trumbull. Carl attended St. Joseph's High School, Norwalk Community College, and the University of New Haven. After school, Carl took over and operated his father's business, Merit Metal Finishing Co. in Bridgeport, for almost 40 years. Carl had a love of traveling, was an avid skier, and enjoyed deep sea fishing. Carl is survived by his two daughters, Katherine Blanding and husband, Alex of Stratford, and Kristina Negeli and husband, Robert of Shelton; and granddaugh-ters, Paige and Lillian Blanding. Private services were entrusted to the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford.
