Betty Schede Obituary

SCHEDE Betty Ann Schede, age of 73, of Fairfield passed away after a brief illness on September 26, 2011, surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, wife and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert, her children and their spouses, James and Nanette Schede of Fairfield, Ann-Marie and David Meacham of San Jose, California, and Robert Schede and Kasia Bogusiewicz of Fairfield, and her granddaughters, Kayla, Melissa and Julia. Betty Ann, originally from Ipswich, England, was long time resident of Fairfield, Connecticut. After relocating to Fairfield to marry the love of her life, Betty became an active member of her church and enjoyed raising her three children. She loved her cats, took pride in her plants and volunteered her time with the local senior's group. She will be dearly missed, never forgotten and always in our hearts. "Make yourself familiar with the angels, and behold them frequently in spirit; for without being seen, they are present with you." St. Francis de Sales. Services will be held at the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Road, Fairfield on Saturday, October 1st from 11 am until 1 pm. Betty was a good friend of my mom Marilyn and the first time I met her I fell in love with her because she talked and acted just like my favorite aunt, so from that day she became aunt Rose and she loved it. To my aunt Rose aka Betty you will be missed OOOOOXXXXX
