BOUCHER Agnes M. (Baril) Boucher, 100, formerly of North Chestnut St. Wauregan passed away Tuesday evening at the Villa Maria. She was born October 1, 1911 in Wauregan a daughter of the late Alfred and Agnes (Phaneuf) Baril and had been a lifelong resident of the community. Mrs. Boucher had been employed by Wauregan Mills for several years. She was a life member of the Atwood Hose Fire Dept. ladies auxiliary and was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann, a communicant of Sacred Heart Church where she was a choir member. Mrs. Boucher was an avid bingo player. She was the beloved wife of Julian Boucher who died April 28, 1982. She leaves 2 daughters Bernice Grenier and her husband Donald of Wauregan and Janice M. Smith and her husband Dennis of Brooklyn. 3 sisters Alvina Adams of Brooklyn, Rachel Boucher of Danielson, Antoinette Baril of Bridgeport. 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, twin great grandsons also 2 brothers Joseph "Jim" Baril, Clovis Baril and a sister Loretta Gamache. The funeral will be held Monday at 9:15AM from Dougherty Bros. Funeral Home 595 Norwich Rd. Plainfield followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in Sacred Heart Church, Wauregan. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
