Marini, Annita
Annita Marini, age 83 of Bridgeport, CT, the beloved wife of the late Pasquale Marini, entered into rest on Friday, November 16, 2012. Born in Frosinone Italy, on March 20, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni Marini and Madelena Testani. Mrs. Marini was a former employee of Howie Manufacturing CO., and later retired from Hartmann-Conco Inc. Mrs. Marini, also known as "Nonna" to her family, enjoyed cooking and baking for her beloved children and grandchildren, and was known for her delicious homemade pasta and sauce. Survivors include her dedicated son, Pietro Marini and wife Carol of Orange, one daughter, Angela DeSantis and husband Guerino of Frosinone, Italy, her cherished grandchildren, Pete, Alyssa, and Alexandra Marini of Orange, Tiziana Celani and husband Bruno, Claudia Nobili and husband Gilberto, and Francesca DeSantis, and her cherished great grandchildren, Enzo, Giulia, Federico, and Leonardo of Frosinone, Italy, one brother-in-law, Armando Nicolia, a devoted and special niece, Maria Luongo, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by one sister, Domenica Marini of Frosinone Italy. Family and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM DIRECTLY in St. Margaret's Shrine, 2539 Park Ave., Bridgeport with a Mass of the Christian Burial. Entombment in Frosinone Italy. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the , P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA. 02241, and/or the , 2080 Silas Deane Hwy., 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 in memory of Annita.
