Konstantinos Papanikolaou, age 52 of Seymour, beloved husband of eight years to Robin James Papanikolaou, died suddenly on Thursday, January 24, 2013. Born in Elatohori Katerini, Greece, he was the son of Eurianthi Kostopoulos Papanikolaou and the late Petros Papanikolaou. A resident of Seymour for the past seven and a half years, he was the manager of Orem's Diner located in Wilton. He was an avid soccer player whom mostly enjoyed spending time with his family and going to the Greek Club in Bridgeport. Survivors in addition to his wife and mother, include his children Stephanie Russo and husband Robert of NY, Christi Reddic and husband Judathan of Stamford, Matthew Luna, Danielle, Michelle, and Bonnie Wagmeister all of Seymour, six grandchildren Michael, Nicholas, Gabriella, Natasha, Joseph and Johnathan, his brother Paulos Papanikolaou and wife Soltana, sister Elefterios Papanikolaou of Greece, several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to go directly to Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 4070 Park Avenue, Bridgeport on Wednesday at 11am with Father Andreas Vithoulkas Presbyter officiating the Rite of Burial. Internment immediately following in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, January 29th from 4-8pm in the Commerce Hill Funeral Home, 4798 Main Street, Bridgeport (on the Trumbull line) with Trisagion services at 5pm.
