Daniel Salomone Obituary
Daniel Salomone, age 57, of Milford, beloved son of Mrs. Margaret Sears Salomone and the late Matthew Salomone, died on February, 3rd, 2013. Dan was born in Bridgeport, CT on December 25, 1955. He was a resident of Milford for all his life and worked at Pitney Bowes as a self-educated Mechanical Engineer and Inventor. He was a jazz musician and studied under the late Sal Salvador. Dan was also a talented artist and a vegetarian because of his love for all animals. Survivors include his siblings: Matthew Salomone , Stefana Salomone, both of Milford, Margaret Edwards (John) of NC, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Daniel is predeceased by his brother, Joseph Salomone. Friends are invited to call on Monday, February 11th, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10:30AM DIRECTLY in Saint Gabriel Church, 26 Broadway, Milford. Interment will be private. Dear Salomone family, I am sorry for your loss. Dan became my guitar student after Sal passed away. I remember Dan having a good sense of humor and we would share many laughs at his lessons at my condo in Bridgeport.
