Mangines, Carson D.
Carson Dean Mangines 22, passed away July 27, 2013 in Colorado. He is survived by his mother, Lianne Mangines of Lakewood, his father James Mangines and stepmother Heidi of Greenwich, CT. his sister and brothers Madison Mangines of Denver, Harrison Mangines of Juneau, AK and Cutter Mangines of Lakewood. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Virginia & William T. Rapp Jr. of Oklahoma and paternal grandfather, Thomas Mangines of Florida, along with several aunts uncles and cousins. Carson was born in Plano, TX but spent most of his childhood years in Fairfield, CT. where he graduated from Fairfield Country Day School. He excelled academically and in sports. He was an exceptional Lacrosse, Hockey and soccer player, and captain of several teams. Carson was and incredible skier and snowboarder and was recognized as an expert at Okemo, VT resort. He was a member of First Church Congregational Church. He continued his love of sports and the outdoors after moving to Evergreen, CO. There were many hours spent 4 wheeling, Kayacking, camping, rock climbing, hiking, river rafting and enjoying time with many friends who loved him and his energy. Carson had no shortage of hopes and dreams for his future. He was well known for his unbelievable computer skills and aspired to complete his higher education and enter the IT field professionally. The Carson we all loved was incredibly charismatic and charming, and anyone who was ever fortunate to meet him, even in passing, will never forget him.
