Mainiero Jr., Anthony
Anthony N. Mainiero Jr., age 30, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on Friday, November 1, 2013 at The JFK Medical Center, Atlantis, FL. Born in West Palm Beach, FL on February 23, 1983, he was a son of Anthony Nicholas Sr. and Filomena Iovane Mainiero of Shelton. Anthony was raised in Bridgeport and Shelton before moving to West Palm Beach two years ago. He was currently working for the John Rossi Painting and Decorating Co., FL. Anthony always had a smile on his face and a way of approaching the world that left an impression on the people whom he cared about. Ant had a healthy appetite for life, he loved to fish, Jet Ski, enjoyed the beach, loved to cook, had gone sky diving and had been on a hot air balloon last year over Steamboat Springs, Colorado. He loved to travel and share the joy he experienced with those around him. He enjoyed all kinds of music, especially 80's music because it reminded him of his mother. His family and friends will remember him for his outspoken personality as well as his respectful disposition. Anthony treated others with kindness; he was always willing to help someone in need. He was a fun-loving man who was both insightful and funny. The world feels as if there is too much gravity since his passing; but those who loved him can take solace in knowing that Anthony has moved onto the next stage of his spiritual journey, life everlasting. Anthony's family would like to thank the staff at JFK Hospital ICU, especially Pamela and Tiffany, the nurses that took such good care of him. Thank you for your care you are angels here on earth, you take good care of the sick. In addition to his parents, survivors include a brother, Michael Joseph Mainiero and Michael's girlfriend, Erica Mansi whom he called his Lil sister, a very special cousin, Angela Twigg of Shelton, his deceased maternal grandparents, Antoinetta and Pasquale Iovane, his deceased paternal grandparents, Ellen Marie Salvaggio and Nicholas Raymond Mainiero. He is also survived his great big family of aunts, uncles and cousins, The Iovane, Mainiero, (Joey Carloto), Mangiacapra, Rossi, Mingolello and Twigg Families. He was also the godfather to his cousin, Marissa Mainiero and his special friend Lizann Cheshire and her family. Anthony also had a very big extended family in Italy and Panama of which he was very proud as well as many friends including his best friends, Ashley Carrano, Vinny Mangiacapra, Mike Carino and Alex DeJesus. Friends are invited to meet directly in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton, on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial.
