Gino Bossio Obituary
Gino M. Bossio, age 64, of Stratford, beloved husband of Sharon Bailey Bossio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 in Bridgeport Hospital. Gino was born in Bridgeport on July 6, 1949, a son of the late Pasquale and Adelina Bossio. He was a retired truck driver for Eastern Bag and Paper and enjoyed going to the casino and spending time at home with his family. Gino is survived by his wife Sharon of 40 years, a daughter, Gina Bossio Garvin and son-in-law, Christopher of Lisbon, CT, a son, Glenn Bossio of Sacramento, CA, two loving grandchildren, Hannah and Sean Garvin, a sister, Faye DeLorenzo and her husband, John of Newtown, a brother, Joseph Bossio and his wife Alice of Stratford, a sister-in-law Mary Ann Bossio, many nieces and nephews and his dog and best friend, Bianca. In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his brother, Carmine. Friends can greet the family on Saturday, May 3, 2014 from 3-6 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. A Prayer Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those desiring can make memorial donations to the CT Humane Society, 455 Post Road East, Westport, CT 06524.
