Schempp, Woody
Woody Schempp 71, of Tanglewood Lane in Norwalk passed away on Wednesday May 21, at Norwalk Hospital. Woody was born in Bridgeport Connecticut, son of Julie Schempp and the late Harry Schempp. Woody is survived by his wife, sister, four children and their families;Wife Gail Palmer-Stone; Daughter and Son-in-law Maia and Armando Vargas and their children Jaxon and Kaden; Daughter Rhoby Schempp; Son and Daughter-in-law Stephen and Kelly Stone and their children Samantha and Shane; Son and Daughter-in-law David and Janice Sloane and their son Thomas; and sister Wendy Mathews.
Woody was a member of the Wilton Friends Monthly Meeting and a proud alumni of the Fairfield Prep class of 1960, he was loved by all. Memorial Services will be held at The Unitarian Church of Westport, 10 Lyons Plains Road, Westport CT on Saturday (TODAY) May 24th, 2pm. If you would like to make a contribution in Woody's memory The Connecticut Friends School of 317 New Canaan Road in Wilton Ct would have been his choice.
