Jean Lyons Obituary
Lyons, Jean Lyons, age 58, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2014 in Bridgeport Healthcare Center with her loving family by her side. Jean was born on December 13, 1955 in Bridgeport and was the daughter of the late Martin and Helen Gurski Lyons. She enjoyed making crafts, was an avid bingo player, and cherished spending precious time with family. Jean is survived by one loving sister, Helen Daniels of Stratford and one devoted nephew, Kevin Daniels of Stratford. In addition to her beloved parents, Jean was also predeceased by her Godson and nephew, Keith Daniels. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 10, 2014 at 9:30 AM in the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM in the Holy Name of Jesus Church 1950 Barnum Avenue Stratford where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Andrew Marus. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home on Friday from 8:30 AM until time of service. The family wishes to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff on the 7th floor SICU at Bridgeport Hospital and the entire staff at Bridgeport Healthcare Center.
