Alfredo (Freddy) Cordero, Jr., age 61, of Shelton, passed away March 12, 2015 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Freddy was born in Bridgeport and was a lifelong area resident. He is survived by his mother Gloria Doolan, his siblings Carmen Ramos Santiago (husband Hector Santiago), Mickey Ramos (wife Amparo Ramos), Linda Doolan Castagliuolo, Patricia Doolan Donnelly (husband Michael Donnelly), Diane Doolan (wife Chris Bourg), James Doolan (wife Leonore Doolan), and his sister-cousin, Gladys Soto (spouse John Soto). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, including Brian Santiago, Jessica Ramos, Lora Castagliuolo, Nicholas and Patrick Donnelly, Caitlin Bourg, Lindsey Wilson, and Taylor, Alyssa and Brooke Doolan. Freddy will be sorely missed by all of the above as well as the kind, talented and patient staff of the Whole Life/Daybreak Group Home in Shelton, CT. Freddy's family wishes to express their gratitude to Freddy's Daybreak family and to the skilled and compassionate nursing staff of St. Vincent's Medical Center. Freddy inspired many with his deep faith in God, his love of singing, his passion for eating and his strong sense of humor. Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull. Interment in Lawncroft Cemetery.
