Nicholas Forrest Obituary
Nicholas J. Forrest, 23 years young, of Stratford, passed away in Lakewood, CO where he had resided for the last 10 months looking to start a new life. Nicholas graduated from St. James School and Notre Dame of Fairfield. As a young boy growing up in Stratford, he participated in Sterling House soccer and Stratford Little League. During the winter seasons, Nicholas played hockey for Southern CT Youth Hockey and continued playing hockey for Notre Dame of Fairfield. At Notre Dame, Nicholas played golf and was the captain in his senior year. At the Orchard's in Milford Nicholas got a hole in one. Nicholas' true love was racing motor cross at Milford Riders.
Nicholas is predeceased by his father Walter Forrest and two grandpas, and is survived by his mother, Karen Forrest and her partner, Joseph Mingolello; his brother, Daniel Forrest and his future sister-in-law Lynsday Yocher; his grandmothers, Olga Fitzpatrick and Margaret Forrest; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, JUNE 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm DIRECTLY at St. James Church with Reverend Thomas J. Lynch officiating. Interment will be private. There will be no prior calling hours. The family has respectfully requested that flowers be omitted. Please visit www.pisteyfuneralhome.com to share memories or leave condolences online.

Nick and I used to talk everyday up to three months ago . We would talk on the phone for hours . He was always so happy and excited about life . He was so passionate about his dogs and traveling .
