Lopinto, Frances M.
Frances M. Cavalieri Lopinto, age 80, of Shelton, beloved wife of Morry Lopinto passed away peacefully on Monday, December 28, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on November 16, 1935 she was a daughter of the late Michael and Pasqualina Mastroni Cavalieri. Frances always had a motivation for learning. She had a passion for her work which was evident in her dedication to her patients. She received her Nursing Degree in 1977 and was very proud to have earned a Master's Degree in Psychiatric Health from Yale University in 1993. She furthered her education and went on to become an APRN. She was employed by St. Vincent's Medical Center where she worked for over 40 years in many capacities in the nursing and psychiatric fields. After her retirement she continued to volunteer at St. Vincent's. Frances was a dedicated wife, sister and aunt who treasured time spent with her family and will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her beloved husband of 50 years, Morry, survivors include two sisters, Phyllis Youd of Shelton and Jeanne Flynn of Milford, 10 nieces and nephews, Brian and Kevin Vitting, Douglass, John and Ken Youd, Theresa Hennessey, Susan Salomone and Chris, Mary and Kathleen Flynn, as well as many great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Bednarski. Relatives and friends are invited to meet in St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave, Shelton on Thursday December 31, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. To leave an online condolence, visit us at www.abriola.com.

Dear Morry, Phyllis, Jeannie and family,
Carl and I send our love and heart felt sympathy for your loss.
We were out of town for the holiday and I just read the obituary on line.
I will always treasure the fun times we all spent together.
