Elaine Straley Obituary
Elaine Straley, age 92, of Milford passed away on May 4, 2016 in her home. Born in Middletown on December 19, 1923, Elaine was the daughter of the late Sydney and Elizabeth Jacobi Straley. Elaine graduated from Lauralton Hall class of 1941. Elaine went on to teach piano at Yale School of Music. Music was Elaine's passion. Elaine was a loving and caring to all who knew her. Elaine's heart was filled with music and her mind filled with knowledge and wisdom. Elaine will be greatly missed. Elaine was a long time member of Wildermere Beach Congregational Church of Milford.
Graveside services will be held at the Milford Cemetery on Wednesday, May 18 at 2 PM. Smith Funeral Home, 135 Broad St. of Milford is handling the arrangements. To leave condolences, please visit our website at www.georgejsmithandson.com
