Colin Dutton, affectionately known as "Coley" or "Uncle Nodge", entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the age of 74. He was born August 6, 1942 in Southampton, England and was a longtime resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut. He is predeceased by his parents, Edward and Florence Dutton and his sister, Sheila DeCarlo and her husband, Nick DeCarlo. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Nanette Maresca Dutton; his two daughters, Nicole Dutton and Joanne Johansen and her husband, Danny Johansen; his granddaughter, Brianna Skelly and her father, Brian Skelly; his grandson, Danny Johansen Jr.; his brother, Michael Dutton and his wife, Janice Dutton; a host of nieces and nephews and several cousins. Colin served in the United States Army in Vietnam and worked at Hudson paper company for 26 years. Colin enjoyed life through the simplest of measures: passing time with his dog, Charlie, lounging in the backyard, reading his beloved bible, and listening to classical music. Colin was always the life of the party, and looked forward to special occasions and holidays where he would share remarkable stories about his life and experiences and fill his friends and family with laughter. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and love him. Family and friends can pay their respect on Friday, November 11th from 4-8 p.m. at Redgate-Hennessy Funeral Home located at 4 Gorham Place Trumbull, CT 06611. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, November 12th at 11 a.m. at Christ Episcopal Church located at 2000 Main Street Stratford, CT 06615.
