William Hirth Obituary

HIRTH William R. Hirth, Jr., age 68, of Stratford, died on Saturday, March 29, 2003, in Lord Chamberlain Health Care Facility, Stratford. Born in Bridgeport to the late William R. Hirth, Sr. and Marie R. Visnicky Hirth, he was a resident of Stratford for 24 years. Mr. Hirth was a retired baker for Stop and Shop in Milford and a peacetime veteran of U.S. Army. Survivors include his beloved daughters, Deborah Hirth of Milford and Sandra Gest of Charlotte, N.C.; a granddaughter, Cheyenne Gest; a sister, Alice Dattola of Bridgeport; an aunt, Matilda Visnicky of Trumbull; two cousins, Irene Visnicky of Bridgeport and Michael Visnicky of Trumbull; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2003, at 9:15 a.m. in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford and at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Tuesday, April 1, 2003, from 4 to 6 p.m.
