Paul Anthony "Pablo" Yanez, 41, of Alvarado Street, Carlsbad, N.M., passed away Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at his home.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. today (Nov. 15) at Denton-Wood Funeral Home. A vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. today at San Jose Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at San Jose Catholic Church with Fr. Valentine Jankowski, OFM Conv., officiating. Interment will follow in Santa Catarina, Carlsbad, N.M. Denton-Wood Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Paul Anthony "Pablo" Yanez was born Oct. 15, 1971, in Carlsbad, N.M., to Francisco "Frank" and Nora (Rodriquez) Yanez. He loved listening to music, working out, watching movies and spending time with family. Paul worked as a waiter in various restaurants in the Carlsbad community. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church. Paul was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. He will be missed dearly.
Survivors are his mother, Nora Yanez of Carlsbad, N.M.; sisters: Victoria Yanez of Carlsbad, N.M., and Lisa Y. Granger of Carlsbad, N.M.; brothers: Daniel Yanez of Carlsbad, N.M., and Frank Yanez Jr. of Los Lunas, N.M.; nieces: Chelsie Yanez, SaVana Salcido, Mary Jo Granger, Lia Granger, Maliyah Sanchez, Mariah Sanchez and Sophee Barrera; nephews: Anthony Galvan, Nico Barrera, Dylan Barrera, Rio Granger, Manuel Sanchez, Daydrian Yanez and Nikki Barrera.
Pallbearers will be Jody Granger, Ryan Salcido, Rio Granger, Danny Yanez, Manual Sanchez Jr. and John Methola. Condolences may be expressed at dentonwood.com.
