Doris was survived by her brother Earl Holly of Tulsa, OK, sister Jo Beth Roberts of Mustang, OK, 3 children, Jerry Cox of Durango, Kayla Lyons of Dallas, Jeff Cox of Carlsbad. 1 grandchild, Tommy McPherson of Moore, OK, 3 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was long-time resident of Carlsbad until her recent move to Dallas, Texas. Her family and music was her passion. Doris was retired from the school system after 35 years serving as the librarian of Alta Vista, Mid High and ending her career at the high school. Until her death, Doris was an avid bridge player and belong to the White Rock choir. Her spirit, contagious smile and songs will be truly missed. Memorial services will be held February 18th in Hollis, Ok, her childhood home.
