Memorial services for Jeanne Marie Lahrman, 66, of Roswell, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Anderson-Bethany Funeral Home Chapel with the Honorable Ralph Shamas presiding. Jeanne passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.

Jeanne was born Aug. 18, 1942, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Lee and Alice Lahrman. Jeanne received her undergraduate degree from St. Louis University and her Juris Doctorate from Indiana University. She was admitted to the practice of law in New Mexico in 1980. Jeanne loved practicing law, spending time with good friends and showing her Chihuahuas. She was able to travel throughout the world during her life.
She is survived by one sister, Mary Murphy of Chicago;, four nephews: Pat Murphy of Arlington Heights, Ill., David Dixon of Novato, Calif., Jon Dixon of Mill Valley, Calif., and Robert Dixon of Nicasio, Calif.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Lee G. and Alice L. Lahrman, and one sister, Edith Ann Dixon.
In lieu of flowers, Jeanne requested that donations be made to the Roswell Humane Society, 703 E. McGaffey, Roswell, NM 88203.
