Langfels, Donna Walker - Cynthiana  
Donna Walker Langfels, 86, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2014 at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Marietta Walker, and was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Anthony Langfels. There were no services. Burial was at the convenience of the family. Ware Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Layne, Hollie Williams - Cynthiana  
Hollie Williams Layne, 93, Harrison County, died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Harrison Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Everett Williams and Grace Phillips Sawyers, and was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Layne; and a son, Gregory Kent Layne. Survivors include: a son, Tex Layne, Harrison County; and four daughters, Linda Chandler, Pike County, Kathy Burke, Harrison County, Sharon Hurley, Scott County and Deborah Layne, Harrison County. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 1 p.m. at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Mike Hays. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery.

Lovins, Ronald Bruce - Mt. Olivet  
Ronald Bruce Lovins, 68, Mt. Olivet, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015 at his residence. He was the son of the late Bruce and Juanita Bunnell Lovins. Survivors include: his wife, Barbara McGuire Lovins; and two sons, Bruce Lovins and Rusty Lovins, both of Mt. Olivet. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Jan. 6 at 3 p.m. at Piqua United Methodist Church by Bro. Max Cody with visitation at 1 p.m. A private burial will be at the convenience of the family. Robertson County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Luckey, Virginia Adair - Cynthiana  
Virginia Adair Luckey, 91, Cynthiana, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015 at Edgemont Healthcare. She was the daughter of the late Willie W. and Mattie Simms Lizer of Harrison County, Ky., and was preceded in death by one brother and one sister. She was an employee of Carr Furniture for many years, a member and deaconess of Cynthiana Christian Church, retired member of the choir and Sunday School teacher, member of the Christian Women's Fellowship, and the Roadside Garden Club. She was a garden enthusiast, a UK Wildcat fan, enjoyed the world of sports, and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include: her husband of 72 years, Robert E. "Gene" Luckey; one son, Robert E. (Betsy Clendenin) Luckey Jr., Lexington; one sister, Ruby Bradley, Lexington; and two grandsons, Robert Benjamin and Quentin Edward Luckey of Lexington. Funeral services will be Monday, Jan. 12 at 1 p.m. at Drake-Whaley-McCarty Funeral Home officiated by Dr. Larry W. Bishop and Dr. Timothy Teater. Burial will follow the service in the Battle Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass. Pallbearers: William Horn, Gerald Whalen, Gene Jarvis, Charles Antle, Daryl Feix, James Snodgrass.
