Ann Wayne Gordon Martin, 74, Knoxville, Tenn., formerly of Cynthiana, died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012 at the Serene Manor Medical Center in Knoxville.
She was born in Frankfort, Feb. 24, 1938 to the late Charles E. and Goldie Mae Dozier Gordon. She was an administrative assistant for several state and federal agencies and a member of Cynthiana Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a very special sister-in-law, Carl (Jean) Gordon, two sisters, Virginia Kennedy and Lillian Hippe, and two nephews, Larry Edmond Graham and N. Douglas Hippe, all of Frankfort.
Survivors include: her son, R.H. (Debbie) Martin II, Cynthiana; a daughter, Julie (Charlie) Loveday, Knoxville; two grandchildren, Macy Lucille Martin and Brandon Hilen Martin, Cynthiana; four beloved nieces, Ann Leslie Gordon, Elizabeth Ann Graham and Candace Sacre, all of Frankfort and Sally Sehl, Clearwater, Fla.; three beloved nephews, R. Carey Graham and Carl Eddie Gordon, both of Frankfort and Gary Gordon Graham, Inverness, Fla.; and many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Sunday, Dec. 9 at Cynthiana Christian Church. Private graveside service was held in Versailles Cemetery.
