James Arlyn Hill, 68, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Harrison County, July 2, 1945, to the late Edwin Martin and Beulah Geoghegan Hill. He was a retired power line foreman for Harrison Rural Electric, a member, Sunday school teacher and deacon for Fairview Baptist Church, a member of the Cynthiana Country Club, and was a United States Army Vietnam War
He is survived by his wife, Patty Welch Hill, and a son, James Edwin Hill, both of Cynthiana; three daughters, Christin Dawn (Steve) Jackson and Amy Arlyn Hill, both of Cynthiana and Deanna Carpenter, Robertson County; three brothers, Dwight Hill, Harold Ray Hill and Charlie (Cindy) Hill, all of Cynthiana; six sisters, Janet (Kenny) Simpson, Carolyn (Bobby) Perkins, Diane Ritchie, Vicky (Shearl) Moore and Debbie (Ronnie) Hatfield, all of Cynthiana and Jeannie (Mike) Jones, Boone County; four grandchildren, J. B. Buckler, Dylan Hill, Jake Barnes and Dalton Ballard; two loving sisters-in-law, Kathy Beckett and Cindy Hill; and a loving brother-in-law, Roger Beckett.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 31 at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Mike Jones and Bro. Keith Hemphill. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
